The Wounded Warrior Project is a great cause that started in 2003, to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured service members aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.

On Sunday,  May 7, 2013 , Manfredi Jewels sponsored annual ring day at Yankees Stadium to support the Wounded Warrior Project. On this day 18,000 rings were given out to Yankee Fans fourteen years or younger. As sponsors of this event, Manfredi Jewels graciously donated 100 tickets to Yankees Stadium to the Wounded Warriors and their families on this incredible day. This initiation was brought to life by Manfredi Jewels sales associate, Joel Kopel, who has been in support of this amazing cause since its inception in 2003. This event received all sorts of national and local press, and within Yankees Stadium, Manfredi’s support of this cause was made very clear on the scoreboard and signage to raise awareness.

To further  embrace the Wounded Warrior Project, Manfredi Jewels will be hosting a raffle on June 7th, their 25th anniversary, where 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.

I would like to congratulate Joel Kopel for orchestrating such an amazing act of support to a cause close to his heart and I would like to applaud Roberto Chiappelloni and the entire Manfredi Jewels family for stepping up to the plate with their selfless act of compassion,  humanity and philanthropy.
