IWC launches a limited editon Red Gold Portuguese Daragon Year

by amitdevhanda

To celebrate year of the Dragon 2012, IWC  has decided to launch a very cool, collectible and very handsome looking red gold 7 Day Portuguese Special Edition Dragon Year.

IWC did a great job executing this special edition with one of their true icons. The Dragon Year is quite distinctive from all their other 7 day Portuguese counterparts in that the dial is a slate grey while the subdials are black. The movement is exactly the same as all the others 7 day Portuguese watches, except that the winding rotor is decorated with a red gold Dragon Year emblem in red gold, while the rest of the rotor bears  the name Dragon Year and list the number of pieces out of 888, since this is a special edition watch limited to 888 pieces.  This watch will only be available at IWC boutiques worldwide.
