Panerai releases Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days Automatic – 42MM
PAM00392 in Stainless Steel
PAM00393 in 18k Rose Gold
In an effort to be more accessible on global scale, Panerai has released a new 42 mm Luminor Marina 1950 3 day automatic. This model is available in two different variations, stainless steel reference # PAM00392 and rose gold reference# PAM00393.
This will open up a whole new market for the brand for people who feel the 44 mm is too big and the 40 mm is too small.
This watch gets the iconic 1950 case and the sandwich dial treatment, which was taken from the original Panerai watches produced in 1930 for maximum clarity and legibility both underwater and in the lowest lighting conditions: two superimposed discs contain a layer of Super-LumiNova which shines through cut-outs in the upper disc corresponding to the hour markers and numerals, providing ultimate visibility.
The new Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days Automatic is the Swiss automatic Panerai in-house caliber P.9000, completely designed and executed by Panerai in Neuchâtel.
It has 28 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 3 days and it is driven by two spring barrels wound by a rotor which operates in both directions
This watch has two sapphire crystals, the front is AR-coated, and has a water resistant to 100 meters.
