Omega launches the Seamaster Planet Ocean 600 Meters SKYFALL
Today, June 6, 2012, Omega launched the new Seamaster Planet Ocean 600 Meters SKYFALL, in support for the latest installment of the new James Bond movie SKYFALL. This is the seventh partnership in the James Bond Franchise that Omega will be a part of.
This watch has become just as iconic as the movie itself. Omega has done a fine job with branding and collaborating with such a legendary franchise. Watch Enthusiasts and collectors alike often refer to Seamaster as the Bond watch, so the partnership has become stronger than ever.
The new Seamaster Planet Ocean 600 Meters SKYFALL boasts technological innovation. Aside from OMEGA’s industry-changing Co-Axial technology, the watch is equipped with an “Si14” silicon balance spring. The combination is so stable and reliable that the Planet Ocean comes with a full four-year warranty.
This watch has a unidirectional rotating diving bezel and a helium escape valve, the watch is water resistant to 600 metres or 2000 feet. It has has a 42 mm brushed and polished stainless steel case and a matching patented screw-and-pin bracelet where the divers’ clasp is engraved with “007”. The rotating diving bezel is instantly recognized by its matt black ceramic ring with a chromium nitride diving scale.
This watch is being produced in an edition limited to 5,007 pieces will arrive in a special presentation box.
